The New Standards, Songs of Love

Join “revelatory” (Star Tribune) Twin-Cities-based jazz trio The New Standards as they celebrate some of their favorite songs of love, just in time for Valentine’s Day. Formed in 2005 as an off-shoot project between musicians and friends Chan Poling of The Suburbs, John Munson of Trip Shakespeare and Semisonic, and Steve Roehm of Billygoat and Electropolis, The New Standards has grown into a globe-spanning adventure — filling theaters and clubs around the world and spawning several CDs, videos, cartoons, and dance and theater projects that have charmed and delighted an ever-multiplying legion of faithful fans. It will be an evening to remember!
