Planning Your Visit to Burnsville in June
Mondays
Head to the Minnesota Zoo to get a fresh perspective on nature via the new Treetop Trail. The 1.25-mile walking path brings you up 32 feet above the ground to see the animals and nature from a unique view.
After getting your nature fix, grab your grown kids or your favorite gal pals and head to JL Beers fill your belly with tasty burgers, sandwiches and more. And it’s in the name, don’t forget to wash it down with a cold beer.
Tuesdays
Get ready to stop and smell the roses when you stop by Como Zoo for their Summer Flower Show. Floral favorites such as angelonia, petunias, bengonias, impatiens, coleus, salvia and verbena will be on display. Learn more here.
After you stop to smell the flowers plan on popping over to Porter Creek Hardwood Grill for happy hour every day from 3-6pm. You can score deals on beers, wine, well drinks and food. After satisfying your hunger plan to make a night of it by testing your knowledge at Bricksworth Beer Co. for trivia at 7pm!
Wednesdays
Weekly Wheels Car and Bike Meet at Buck Hill – This free event is an opportunity to show your car, truck, or motorcycle and meet with other enthusiasts from the greater metro community!

Thursdays
Who doesn’t love some locally grown produce, flowers, and made from scratch products? We know we do! Be sure to check out the Saint Paul Farmers’ Market which runs every Thursday 11:30am-3:30pm May-October at Mary Mother of the Church. Only fresh, locally grown produce is sold directly from the grower to the consumer to support and allow access to healthy foods and small family farming.
