The International Festival of Burnsville was established in 2006 to celebrate the city’s cultural diversity. The Festival takes place at Nicollet Commons Park each summer and features a range of music and dance groups representing cultures around the globe. In addition to music, guests and their families can purchase food, admire culture displays, and engage in kid-friendly activities.
The 2022 Art and All That Jazz Festival will take place on Saturday, August 22 from 12 to 10pm at Nicollet Commons Park. This year’s festival lineup will include national recording artist Lao Tizer with special guest Eric Marienthal. Stay tuned for additional announcements, including food and artist vendors.
The Burnsville Festival Fire Muster community event began in 1980 and is celebrating its 42nd anniversary in 2022. This year’s event will feature the annual medallion hunt, Festival Block Party on the Plaza (Wednesday), Classic Car Show and Craft Beer Tasting (Thursday), carnival rides, bingo, fire truck water display, live music from the Johnny Holm Band (Friday night), and Fleetwood Mask (Saturday night), fireworks, and Community and Fire Truck parade.
