International Festival – Saturday, July 16

The International Festival of Burnsville was established in 2006 to celebrate the city’s cultural diversity. The Festival takes place at Nicollet Commons Park each summer and features a range of music and dance groups representing cultures around the globe.  In addition to music, guests and their families can purchase food, admire culture displays, and engage in kid-friendly activities.

Art and All That Jazz – Saturday, August 20

The 2022 Art and All That Jazz Festival will take place on Saturday, August 22 from 12 to 10pm at Nicollet Commons Park. This year’s festival lineup will include national recording artist Lao Tizer with special guest Eric Marienthal. Stay tuned for additional announcements, including food and artist vendors.

Burnsville Festival Fire Muster – September 7-10

The Burnsville Festival Fire Muster community event began in 1980 and is celebrating its 42nd anniversary in 2022. This year’s event will feature the annual medallion hunt, Festival Block Party on the Plaza (Wednesday), Classic Car Show and Craft Beer Tasting (Thursday), carnival rides, bingo, fire truck water display, live music from the Johnny Holm Band (Friday night), and Fleetwood Mask (Saturday night), fireworks, and Community and Fire Truck parade. Heart of the City Race – Sunday, September 10

Whether you’re an avid runner or want to stroll through the beautiful streets on Burnsville, MN, sign up for the 11th Annual Heart of the City Race – A Run to Remember. The event features a 15K, 10K, 5K and 1K Kid’s Fun Run.

Buck Concert Series – September 15-17

Have “One Hill of a Good Time” at the 2022 Buck Concert Series, September 15-17!

Tributes Thursday features The Mallrats, Bohemian Queen, and Atomic Punks. Alternative Friday has American Scarecrows, Plain White T’s, and local favorites, Soul Asylum. Country Rockin’ Saturday kicks it up a notch with Tim Sigler, The Cadillac Three, and the hard driving southern rock band from Atlanta, Blackberry Smoke.
