Following the success of last winter’s event in Detroit, MI, Red Bull Heavy Metal returns to Minnesota, this time transforming the steps of the iconic St. Paul Capitol Building into a snowboarding haven on February 10th, 2024, from 2pm to 6pm.
In a groundbreaking move, the 2024 edition of Red Bull Heavy Metal opens its competitor field to the public for the first time with the Buck Hill Heavy Metal Qualifier event on Friday, February 9th. While the main event is scheduled for the following day Saturday, February 10th at the St. Paul Capitol Building, the Red Bull Heavy Metal Last Chance Qualifier at Buck Hill offers aspiring snowboarders the opportunity to secure their spot in the contest. This marks a significant departure from the previous invite-only format for the main Red Bull Heavy Metal contest, allowing talented individuals from the public to showcase their skills and potentially join the elite lineup.
