  • The Executive Board Room located on the first floor is well suited for up to 40 guests 
  • The Board Room 1 is great for more intimate gatherings or private lunches for up to 40 people 
  • The Ballroom is 3,186 square feet and can seat up to 300 people. It divides evenly into three separate rooms to accommodate all special events. 

 

Ames Center

An architectural masterpiece, the Ames Center provides two theaters and a beautiful banquet hall. Whether you’re planning a grand holiday gala or a cozy family gathering, this center has a space that fits. With numerous spaces available for rental you will find the perfect space for any occasion. Options include:

  • Masquerade Dance Theater – ideal for very large events as this space can seat up to 1,014 people.
  • Black Box Theater that can host up to 150.
  • Art Gallery which is 2,000-square-foot .
  • The Rehearsal Room is an 1,800-square-foot space, complete with mirrors and ballet barres on the walls, and a sprung maple floor for dance rehearsals. The room can also be utilized for trade/display purposes or as a breakout space.
  • Meeting rooms can be split in half with an air wall to separate groups or completely opened to accommodate guests in a theatre style setup.  Classroom setups as well as any combination of hollow square table design can be accommodated in this space.
  • A green room which can be used for smaller get-togethers  in a secluded environment.
  • VIP Suite is ideal for intimate formal dining.
  • Second Floor Atrium is perfect for banquets, receptions as well as meetings. Windows are floor to ceiling offering outstanding views of Nicollet Commons Park, the Minnesota River Valley and the Minneapolis skyline to the north.


Buck Hill Event Center & Hutch Chalet

More than just a skiing destination, Buck Hill offers a banquet hall and a cozy chalet that can be rented for your next get together. The event center is a private banquet room with a vaulted ceiling and large, picturesque windows with beautiful views of Buck Hill. It is 3,000 square feet and can seat up to 200 people for a plated dinner. Included in this room is our semi-private 500 square foot deck that guests can go out to sit and relax and enjoy being outside, as well as wander over to the fire pit and enjoy a drink by the fire.

The Hutch Chalet on the other hand, is perfect for smaller more intimate events that can accommodate up to 70 people.

There is nothing better than getting together with close friends and family to enjoy a tasty bite to eat and a glass of wine. You can call ahead to make a reservation for your group or plan on booking one of their available dining rooms for larger groups.
