Ring in 2023 in the Twin Cities this year! Burnsville is the perfect place to be as 2022 draws to a close and 2022 begins. Check out these ways you can celebrate the holidays and ring in the new year in the Burnsville, MN area.

Ring in the New Year at Ineffable Brewing Co.

Enjoy live music from 9pm – 12:30am, food specials, special beer releases, and a free 5 oz. champagne wheat pour to toast 2023!

Ring in the New Year at Buck Hill

Get your friends together and have some all-day fun at Buck Hill with great skiing, boarding, snow tubing, live music, karaoke, and fireworks at midnight.

New Year’s Eve Party at Mystic Lake Casino

Shine bright all night with live music, a champagne toast, free party hats and tiaras and more!

New Year’s Eve Party at Lebanon Hills Regional Park (Visitor Center)

Celebrate all things winter with candlelight ice skating, walking, hiking and snowshoeing. Hang out at the A-frame, sled on the lit sledding hill, sip cocoa and warm up with crackling bonfires. Stay for the ball drop at 7:59 p.m.

Bring your own sled and ice skates. Snowshoe rental is available. S’mores and hot cocoa provided.

Winter Lights 2022 and New Year’s Eve Party

Bring the whole family to bid farewell to 2022 at the Arboretum. Stroll through the Winter Lights display from 5-10:30pm. Enjoy family-friendly games, live music from Traveled Ground and hourly NYE countdowns starting at 8pm. For tickets, click here.

Chianti Grill will be offering dinner service on December 31 from 3pm to 9pm (bar open until 10pm) and will be closed on January 1st.

Jensen’s Cafe, located in Burnsville’s Heart of the City is open New Year’s Eve 7am – 3pm and New Year’s Day 8am – 3pm (we recommend their Ultimate Bloody Mary and Cafe! Benedict).

JL Beers stop in on December 31 from 11am to 5pm and on New Year’s Day from 11am – 9pm for burgers and beer!

Porter Creek Hardwood Grill will be open New Year’s Eve from 11am – 11pm (this is also the last day to take advantage of their Holiday Gift Card Promo, buy $100, get $20!) and open New Year’s Day from 11am – 11pm.

The Original Pancake House in Burnsville is open New Year’s Eve and Day 8am – 3pm.

Taco Chon Mexican Grill is open New Year’s Eve 10am – 4pm and New Year’s Day 10am – 9pm.

Shop

PALMS, PSALMS and PROSECCO is open New Years Day 9am – 1pm.

Attractions

Ames Center is closed New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

Christmas in Color at Valleyfair is closed Christmas Day (open thru January 1, 2023).

If you feel the need for speed, check out ProKART Indoor Racing New Year’s Eve from 11am – 6pm and New Year’s Day 12 noon – 7pm.

SkaterApolis Skate Park (indoor) is open New Year’s Eve 12 noon – midnight and New Year’s Day 12 noon – 6pm.
